Oberland Mangold Celebrates 40 Years – A Look Back, Recognition, and a Glimpse into the Future

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Oberland Mangold GmbH, the Mangold family—most notably co-founder Elfriede Mangold—gathered with numerous employees, customers, partners, friends, and representatives from politics and public administration for a festive anniversary celebration.

Among the distinguished guests and well-wishers were:

• Member of the Bavarian State Parliament Harald Kühn (CSU)

Managing Director Frank Vehlen presented a historical retrospective beginning in 1955—with the early activities of the company’s late founder Anton Mangold. From the regionally renowned snow chains to the current product portfolio of metal substrates, flame arresters, and catalytic converters, the presentation also highlighted the company's cutting-edge developments in hydrogen technology and thermal management.

The event provided a relaxed and appreciative atmosphere where attendees celebrated together and engaged in constructive conversations and forward-looking discussions about future projects.

With this anniversary, Oberland Mangold reaffirms its status as a successful, mid-sized family business with an international presence. Products from Eschenlohe are used in numerous countries around the world.
